Low Cost All-in-One Gamming Platforms ACE-S8700 Uses VIA VX800 Chipset

   

Graphic intensive gaming applications such as video slot, poker and video lottery typically used an industrial PC platform to fulfill their hardware requirements due to long life availability. Combining a gaming I/O controller with an X86 platform in single motherboard provides better reliability and at times a lower cost. Followed by Acrosser’s Intel based All-in-One gaming products, Acrosser has released a logic box gaming solution ACE-S8700 which integrates its powerful gaming I/O controller with VIA VX800 chipset. The ACE-S8700 is competitive with inexpensive price but without sacrificing it’s performance.

The ACE-S8700 provides 30 optical isolated digital inputs and 27 high current digital outputs, 256KB SRAM, 5 serial ports, intrusion logger and software protection. These features cover most of the necessary device control interfaces that are required in a gaming machine. The most valuable part of ACE-S8700 is its free software development kit. The software development kit contains API, device drivers and a demo program to support Windows XP embedded and Linux operation systems.

Low cost VIA gaming board

Acrosser’s announces three new products are launched to extend the multiplicity of Acrosser’s ACE series gaming solution and benefit gaming industry different level requirements on performance and cost. These models utilize the latest computer technology from Intel, AMD and VIA as their basic platform and integrate Acrosser’s gaming control technology. Acrosser’s All-in-One products feature digital I/O, Non-volatile SRAM, counter, pulse generator, timer, intrusion logger, security, RNG, ccTalk, and secured Real Time Clock. These features combined with software development kit substantially reduce the required gaming software engineering resource. Thanks to the identical software interface design, game developers can benefit from Acrosser’s cross platform SDK.

The model ACE-B7300 is a gaming board designed to comply with Italy Comma 6A. It utilize the AMD 780E as a platform which offers exceptional 3D graphic acceleration. Its JAMMA interface provides complete digital I/O, ccTalk and intrusion logger requirements in the AWP machine. A smart card reader is designed on the board to meet the Italy AAMS license requirement. The ACE-B7300 gaming controller also embeds pulse generators which unload the complexity of handling meters in a slot machine. Beside these, this product has a PCI express x16 slot for extending its graphic performance and video output up to 4 displays.
