Gaming Device Manager (GDM)

Acrosser is now pleased to announce the availability of Acrosser’s gaming platforms with direct support for e2c’s Gaming Device manager(GDM) software; thus allowing us to provide our customers with a “Game Ready Platform.” 
The Acrosser gaming platform presents the application developer with a simple and coherent API which takes care of all the complex device management functions; both on the Acrosser gaming board and all the external peripherals. Since the GDM supports all major peripheral manufacturers and device protocols, selecting and adding peripherals is now a simple task. The Acrosser Gaming platform can quickly be combined with all the industry standard peripherals, offering reduced time to market and improved system reliability; as well as the other major benefits of the GDM’s device bstraction layer.
With the GDM on the Acrosser gaming platform, running an application on any machine requires no detailed knowledge of device protocols. Our customers benefit considerably from an Application Ready Platform and the full suite of development tools available from e2c.

Low Cost All-in-One Gamming Platforms ACE-S8700 Uses VIA VX800 Chipset

   

Graphic intensive gaming applications such as video slot, poker and video lottery typically used an industrial PC platform to fulfill their hardware requirements due to long life availability. Combining a gaming I/O controller with an X86 platform in single motherboard provides better reliability and at times a lower cost. Followed by Acrosser’s Intel based All-in-One gaming products, Acrosser has released a logic box gaming solution ACE-S8700 which integrates its powerful gaming I/O controller with VIA VX800 chipset. The ACE-S8700 is competitive with inexpensive price but without sacrificing it’s performance.

The ACE-S8700 provides 30 optical isolated digital inputs and 27 high current digital outputs, 256KB SRAM, 5 serial ports, intrusion logger and software protection. These features cover most of the necessary device control interfaces that are required in a gaming machine. The most valuable part of ACE-S8700 is its free software development kit. The software development kit contains API, device drivers and a demo program to support Windows XP embedded and Linux operation systems.
